Mercer University is accepting applications for an Athletics Communications Graduate Assistant position for the 2026-27 academic year. Located in Macon, Ga., Mercer is a full member of the Southern Conference (SoCon) and sponsors 17 Division I sports. Responsibilities include, but are not confined to: Serving as the primary media contact for four sports (volleyball, m/w cross country, women’s basketball, men’s lacrosse). Ensuring MercerBears.com and all assigned sports platforms are up-to-date in a timely manner for fans and media. Producing press releases and game notes, coordinating interviews for coaches and players, keeping and updating statistics and historical records.
