Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Assistant AD for Compliance and Eligibility, the Graduate Assistant for Compliance’s primary responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Monitor student-athlete eligibility,
• Assist in the documentation and monitoring of coaches’ recruiting,
• Monitor recruiting visits, ticket requests, phone logs, and contacts/evaluation logs,
• Help research and compile materials for rules education,
• Maintain student-athlete files and ensure all required NCAA and OVC documentation are up to date,
• File and organize paperwork to help in eligibility certification of student-athletes,
• Assist with the policies and procedures of SEMO Athletics, and
• Additional duties/projects as assigned by the Athletic Department

Qualifications

Required

• Admittance into a SEMO graduate program
• Previous experience in intercollegiate athletics (student-athlete, intern, student worker, etc.)

Preferred

• Knowledge and experience with NCAA Division I rules and regulations,
• Highly organized and detail-oriented,
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, and
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
