The Director of Sports Information is responsible for leading all aspects of athletics communications, including but not limited to media relations and public relations. This role oversees the creation, distribution, and strategic development of content across multiple platforms, including social media, digital, print, external news outlets, and athletics.elmira.edu. The Director will also manage the hiring, training, and daily operations of the athletics communications team, which includes student employees, announcers, statisticians, and scorekeepers for athletic events.
