 RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 
 
 Responsible for coordinating the baseball program in collaboration with the Athletic Director. Duties include, but are not limited to, team travel, training sessions, competitions, recruitment, budget and purchasing, and special events. 
 Assist with facility operations, scheduling coordination, game day preparation, maintenance oversight, and helping ensure the facility is maintained at a high standard for student athletes, staff, and visitors. 
 Create and maintain a baseball program culture that places an emphasis on academic achievement and a commitment to learner success. Collaborate with campus departments and personnel to maximize efforts for student academic support and services. 
 Assist the Athletic Director in the role of Athletic Associate with operational support as assigned and in areas such as athletic event management, facilities and department operations, grounds maintenance, and compliance. 
 In collaboration with the Athletic Director, develop and maintain a consistent fundraising effort and assist with departmental fundraising events and objectives. 
 Adhere to all sports rules, procedures, and guidelines established by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) constitution and bylaws. 
 Collaborate with administration on all topics related to baseball student-athlete initial and continuing eligibility guidelines established by the NJCAA. 
 Collaborate with the Athletic Director to forecast annual budgetary needs for the baseball program, monitor expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner that aligns with institutional policies and procedures. 
 Design and administer an in-season and off-season training and development program that maximizes efforts and output in alignment with NJCAA Article VII Section 2 guidelines. 
 Responsible for the recruitment and training of assistant coaches and team support personnel. 
 Responsible for creating and maintaining a recruitment, development, and retention strategy that produces consistency with regard to competition outcome goals and roster size objectives for the baseball program. 
 Support the Admissions Department with on-campus visit days. 
 Effectively contribute to institutional core values by focusing on educational excellence, learner success, community engagement, continuous improvement, and collaborative leadership.

 Apply ethical standards to work situations; make work decisions in accordance with SCC&#8217;s values and goals; show respect and sensitivity for cultural differences, and promote a harassment-free environment. 
 Supervise&#xa0; SCC &#xa0;student-athletes during practices, games, travel, and I general, throughout their entire experience at&#xa0; SCC . 
 Aid in working with academic staff to ensure academic requirements are being met. 
 Work within the&#xa0; SCC &#xa0;Athletic Department to develop and maintain a successful women&#8217;s volleyball program 
 Monitor and administer the budgets for the respective areas of responsibility. 
 Plan and coordinate: practices, recruitment, strength and conditioning program for volleyball, fundraising, monitoring and reporting of student-athletes academically and behaviorally.&#xa0; 
 Hire, train, supervise and evaluate assistant coaches and staff as appropriate. 
 Responsible for meeting volleyball team roster quota as directed by college administration 
 Help serve as the On-Site Administrator for home games for other sports if needed. 
 Assist with&#xa0; EADA &#xa0;federal compliance reporting. 
 Serve on college committees as directed

 Bachelor&#8217;s Degree required 
 Experience coaching women&#8217;s volleyball required, with preference given to college level coaching and playing experience. 
 Valid driver&#8217;s license 
 Ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and community, and to assist the athletic and student services departments in general. 
 Self-motivated, energetic and creative individual with leadership, planning, fund-raising, and public relations skills. 
 Demonstrated success and integrity in managing student-athlete academic endeavors.

 The Intercollegiate Athletics Coach, Women&#8217;s Basketball reviews college and division policy and procedure manuals and strives to develop his/her program by following the policies established for preparing budgets, acquisition and control of equipment and materials, planning, improvement of facilities, upgrading his/her seasonal schedule, filing of eligibility forms making necessary arrangements for travel to away contests, and set up for home contests, completing a yearly inventory of equipment, and issuance of practice and game uniforms.&#xa0; This position assists the Director of Athletics in the promotion of his/her programs; assists players in developing a high level of skill and physical fitness; and recruits students/athletes for Pensacola State College on a local, state and regional level. This position reports to the Director of Athletics.

 Essential Functions:  
 
 
 Possess knowledge of college admissions process including&#xa0;scholarships/financial&#xa0;aid. 
 
 
 Meet physical fitness demands involved with coaching strategies including illustrating plays/moves involved with women&#8217;s basketball. 
 
 
 Extensive running, jogging, weightlifting, stooping, bending, reaching, and voice projection. 
 
 
 Able to address individuals &#8211; including parents, students, instructors, opposing teams/players - both verbally and in writing. May make presentations to individuals and/or groups.

 Strong listening skills; able to address situations of a sensitive nature and exercise conflict resolution. 
 
 
 Knowledge of first aid, and initial treatment for cuts, wounds, bruises. Extensive in-district and overnight travel including bus and air travel.

 Minimum Qualifications : Graduation from an institution that holds accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and approved by the College with a bachelor&#8217;s degree, three years full-time experience in the organization, management and coaching of the sport for which the advertised vacancy exits, and a valid driver&#8217;s license.  Job Summary 
 Hawkeye Community College&#8217;s Athletics program is looking for a  Head Men&#8217;s Wrestling Coach  to join their team. 
 The Head Men&#8217;s Wrestling Coach will be responsible for the overall management and supervision of the Men&#8217;s wrestling program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: recruitment, development, and retention of student-athletes; budget management; scheduling; fundraising; academic monitoring; and supervision and evaluation of student-athletes and assistant coaches. The head wrestling coach will be responsible for cultivating highly competitive programs within the NJCAA, Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC), and Hawkeye Community College policies, procedures, and expectations. Needs of the department vary, the percent of time devoted to each part of the job will be governed by seasonal and immediate needs of the department. 
 In 2015, Hawkeye Community College launched its first ever intercollegiate sport program and has since accumulated 17 athletic programs to include: sports shooting, men &#38; women&#8217;s soccer, men and women&#8217;s cross country, men &#38; women&#8217;s track and field, men &#38; women&#8217;s golf, women&#39;s volleyball, esports, competitive dance, women&#8217;s softball, men &#38; women&#8217;s bowling, and men &#38; women&#8217;s wrestling. The Hawkeye RedTail Athletic Programs compete within the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) and the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) as Division II when applicable.

 Employment Status

 DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES 

 Essential Functions 
 
 Responsible for supervision of internal affairs and business operations as assigned by the AVP of Athletics.
 Monitors all athletic department activity for NCAA rules compliance and reports any and all suspected violations to the AVP of Athletics and/or the Faculty Athletic Representative (FAR) in a timely fashion with an understanding that failure to do so may lead to sanctions up to and including termination.
 Ensures athletic department compliance with all NCAA, athletic conference, and university rules and regulations by designing, implementing, and coordinating all athletics compliance procedures and processes according to the NCAA&#8217;s applicable guidelines, requirements, and best practices.
 Maintains knowledge of federal, NCAA, conference, and institution rules and regulations. This responsibility requires the employee to keep abreast of any updates or changes affecting athletic department compliance with NCAA rules, Title IX, FERPA, and HIPAA.
 Develops, implements, and conducts the NCAA Compliance Education Program for all athletic department coaches and staff or revises as feedback and current requirements dictate.
 Develops, implements, and conducts the NCAA Compliance Education Program for student-athletes including, but not limited to, pre-season meetings and completion of all required NCAA forms.
 Interacts with institutional staff members and representatives of athletics interest to provide NCAA rules education and to review relevant issues. 
 Develops, implements, and conducts National Letter of Intent and Grant-In-Aid signing processes.
 Serves as the Athletics liaison with admissions, financial aid and registrar&#39;s office while exercising good professional judgment as to when to act independently and when to consult with the AVP of Athletics.
 Coordinates the completion of institutional, conference and NCAA reports, including but not limited to, ISSG, Annual Membership Reports, ASR, and Sports Sponsorship.
 Updates compliance manual, student-athlete handbook and department policies and procedures manuals.
 Coordinates eligibility certification process with the Registrar, FAR and AVP of Athletics.
 Coordinates GIA and financial aid processes with the Financial Aid Office.
 Responsible for all NCAA, conference, and institutional waiver requests, appeals, interpretation requests, eligibility, financial aid, and reporting.
 Assign and track required NCAA Coaching Education Modules annually
 Responsible for the assessment of sport programs, preparing executive summaries, and conducting exit interviews with student athletes as needed
 Maintains appropriate records of the Athletic Department and student-athlete activity, such as retention rates, graduation rates, academic performance, athletic honors/awards, recruitment, etc.
 Coordinates tracking of department and team KPIs (GPA, Retention/Graduation Rates, student athlete satisfaction rates, revenue generation)
 Supervises assigned sports teams 
 Coordinates academic performance notes and mid-semester faculty academic progress reports and keeps coaches informed of student-athletes&#39; academic progress. 
 Creates all travel letters for student-athletes for submission to faculty members. 
 Assists in athletics personnel evaluation processes and procedures.
 Works with NCAA organizations and institutions to develop and comment on NCAA legislation.
 Initiates regular external assessment (such as Division II Compliance Blueprint).
 Serves as the Department&#8217;s primary liaison with the NCAA and athletics conferences with respect to obtaining rules interpretations and resolving compliance issues. Consults with the AVP of Athletics as appropriate.
 Coordinate Transfer Portal entries and NCAA transfer tracers.
 Manage compliance software data for initial and continuing eligibility
 Monitor official/unofficial visits and associated paperwork.
 Manage academic reporting (APP, graduation rates, academic census)
 Prepare and submit all NCAA audit data, EADA reports, and post season expense reports
 Support student athlete development initiatives, including annual awards program and student-athlete advisory committee. 
 Assists with operating and personnel budget preparation and administration as requested.
 Declares and monitors playing and practice sessions with Head Coaches. Ensures a schedule has been established and monitors countable athletically related activity reports (CARA Logs).
 Regularly audits all compliance processes, documentation, and logs.
 Leads onboarding for athletics staff in coordination with Human Resources
 When required or requested by the AVP of Athletics, represents the athletics department on various committees and at conferences regarding compliance issues.
 Attends all required NCAA meetings and seminars, whether on- or off-campus.
 Attends and participates in department and staff meetings as required or requested.
 Contributes to the overall success of the intercollegiate athletics program by performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the AVP of Athletics. 

 Additional Responsibilities 
 
 Serve as Floor Monitor in emergency evacuations.
 Serve on Divisional or University committees as appointed.
 Evening and/or weekend work is required.
 Perform other related duties as assigned by the Assistant Vice President.
 Assume the duties of the university Campus Security Authority (CSA), including but not limited to, reporting crimes as defined through the Clery Act and providing annual reporting statistics. QUALIFICATIONS 
 Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities 
 
 Minimum of a Bachelor&#8217;s degree with Master&#8217;s degree preferred. 
 Minimum of three (3) years experience of related work experience required. Direct NCAA compliance-related experience is highly desirable. 
 Must be proficient in MS Office. 
 Ability to work effectively with college student-athletes, faculty, staff alumni, and members of the community. 
 A philosophy of intercollegiate athletics which places the highest emphasis on the preeminence of the academic mission of the institution and the role of athletics as a part of the student&#8217;s total educational experience for both student-athletes and all other students. 
 Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver&#8217;s license as a condition of employment and must also be able to successfully pass driver background investigation and any driver education courses required by Risk Management. 
 
 Physical Requirements 
 The person must be able to drive/transport athletes. Must be able to set up and take down equipment. Also able to lift, move, and carry up to 25lbs.

The position of Assistant Director of Development for Athletics develops and maintains substantive relations with alumni, parents, and friends of Tufts University to raise the significant philanthropic resources necessary to meet the Department of Athletics&#8217; annual giving, capital, and endowment needs. What You&#39;ll Do

The Assistant Director of Development for Athletics will be responsible for leadership annual and major gift solicitation of alumni, parents, and friends in support of the Tufts&#39; athletics program. S/he is responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major gift- level prospective donors. S/he will manage a portfolio of 120 -150 individual major and special gift prospects. The successful candidate will develop and implement strategic plans aimed at maximizing each individual&#39;s philanthropic support by working with the Director of Development for Athletics, other colleagues in Advancement, the Director of Athletics, athletics coaches, academic leaders, and high-level volunteers. The Assistant Director of Development for Athletics will be responsible, along with other members of the team, for articulating and communicating the needs and priorities of the Department of Athletics and individual athletics programs within the context of the University&#39;s overall mission, goals and objectives. S/he will seek and arrange face-to-face meetings, work with volunteers and staff, telephone and/or visit prospects as well as identify and qualify prospects. The Assistant Director will collaborate, as appropriate, with colleagues in annual giving, gift planning, parents giving, alumni relations, and other departments to develop and implement comprehensive cultivation and solicitation strategies. The Assistant Director will be expected to materially contribute to the successful achievement of the annual goal by soliciting and securing leadership annual gifts of $10,000 or more, as well as endowment and capital gifts in the range of $100,000 to $1,000,000.  Prospect Management and Solicitation
Manage leadership annual and major gift prospects with emphasis on endowed and capital gifts of $100,000 or more and leadership annual gifts of $10,000 or more.  Responsibilities include:
 o Securing in-person visits by phone, email, and other methods to gain an in-depth understanding of his/her prospect pool by asking relevant strategic questions and employing active listening skills;
 o Traveling to visit prospects and hosting prospects on campus;
 o Developing and implementing detailed, thoughtful prospect cultivation and solicitation strategies based on information learned through prospect visits;
 o Preparing written materials including gift proposals, briefing documents for key volunteers, thank you letters, and other routine correspondence;
 o Designing and implementing cultivation events for major gift and leadership annual fund prospects;
 o Presenting a minimum of 12 quality proposals to qualified prospects annually;
 o Identifying new major gift prospects;
 o Maintaining an active pool of 120-150 prospects;
 o Representing the University and Department of Athletics at regional and on-campus events;
 o Achieving a minimum number of prospect visits each year as determined in consultation with the Director of Development for Athletics;
 o Meeting all activity and fundraising goals as established by the Director of Development for Athletics; and
 o Executing detailed and timely summaries of all donor/prospect interactions, which clearly outline progress made toward solicitation and identify relevant next steps.

Oversee the creative direction of live video streaming (Hudl/RMAC Network) and produce high-quality promotional content, including highlight videos and student-athlete &quot;spotlight&quot; features.

Manage advertising and promotional graphics for the Grizzly Club, including digital signage, virtual event assets, and website partner logos.



Game Day &#38; Event Operations

Attend all home contests to oversee press facilities, host visiting media, and oversee scoreboard/Daktronics operations.

Serve as the primary official statistician for all home events, ensuring accurate reporting to the NCAA and RMAC.

Produce professional game programs, previews, recaps, and statistical reports for every athletic event.

Position Information

This is a full-time (1.0 time-base), benefits eligible, temporary position with an anticipated end date of June 30, 2027, with the possibility of reappointment.

Position is responsible for Athletic Media Relations, Website, Game Operations and Marketing for 17 NCAA intercollegiate teams. Must adhere to and follow all NCAA Division II and conference rules, regulations, and bylaws, and document such adherence.  This is a full-time, 12 month position reporting to the Director of Athletics.  

Responsibilities
Record and maintain statistics and results, reporting them to local and national media, the conference, and other required outlets. Produce printed materials, including writing and editing all press releases, feature stories and game day information. Maintain the Athletics Website through Sidearm Sports. Compile and maintain statistical records for all sports.  Supervise and train student assistants for score table operations.  Generate and maintain relationships with local sponsors in order to create a better game-day experience during special events. Collaborate with the Marketing Department on special projects. Continue to advance the image of Ursuline College Athletics among the college community and the region. Help coordinate fundraising events and Hall of Fame for the department.

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree required, plus 3 years of experience in college athletics media relations/sports information. Possess excellent interpersonal communication and organization skills; computer skills (working knowledge of design software - Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc., web content, management systems, and word processing); and demonstrated ability to work in an inclusive climate.  Demonstrated knowledge of social media applications including Facebook and Twitter, plus Stat Crew statistical program.  Provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Executive Director of Athletic Development and Senior Gift Officers/Team leads and assists with the day-to-day coordination of leadership operations. Responsibilities include managing schedules and communications, preparing briefing and meeting materials, coordinating travel and logistics, maintaining organized records and operational tools, and supporting internal processes that advance departmental priorities. The role also assists with leadership meeting preparation, campaign and major gift briefing support, and the coordination of materials and follow-up items related to development initiatives. 
 Assistant or Associate Director of Events  -  Job Description 
 Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing high-quality events and engagement experiences for SAF donors, prospects, alumni, and friends of Michigan State Athletics at the direction of Senior Director of Donor Engagement. This position supports MSU Athletics and SAF priorities by creating meaningful donor experiences that strengthen relationships, support stewardship and cultivation strategies, and advance philanthropic engagement. Work closely with development officers, stewardship, communications, creative, data, Varsity S, campus partners, and external vendors to ensure events are well-planned, professionally executed, and aligned with donor engagement goals. 
 Assistant Gift Officer  -  Job Description 
 Supports one of the fundraising teams within the Spartan Athletic Foundation while identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors capable of making philanthropic commitments of $25,000 to $99,999 annually. This role strengthens the major gift pipeline through strategic donor engagement, collaboration within the team structure, and advancement of FOR SPARTA priorities. 
 Assistant Director of Operations &#38; Prospect Development&#xa0; -  Job Description 
 Supports donor prospect development by partnering with SAF team members responsible for data analysis and gift reporting to identify donors with philanthropic capacity based on giving history and patterns. This role communicates proactively with fundraisers regarding potential discovery candidates, conducts preliminary discovery conversations with donors to gather insights and assess engagement potential, and provides meaningful analysis to fundraising pod members to support strategic outreach and relationship building. This position manages donor pipeline progression by identifying key timelines for donors approaching the end of pledge commitments and recognizing individuals with potential for increased year-over-year giving. 
 Assistant Director of Membership Services  -  Job Description 
 Coordinate and execute all aspects of annual giving level benefits and is responsible for the administration of donor memberships, gift processing, priority point tracking, and benefit fulfillment for Spartan Fund level donations. Support the day-to-day operations of the donor membership program through data management, benefit fulfillment, and donor communications, ensuring donors and members receive high-quality experience. The role serves as a key operational liaison between Athletic Development, premium seating and ticketing, and donor relations to ensure members receive their benefits and remain actively engaged with the program. 
 Assistant Director of Donor Operations&#xa0; -  Job Description 
 Coordinate across multiple areas of SAF including parking&#xa0;logistics, endowed scholarship&#xa0;program, sport liaison programming, Give Green&#xa0;Day&#xa0;and portfolio management. This role will oversee the endowed scholarship program ensuring adherence to&#xa0;timelines and&#xa0;finding ways to enhance acknowledgement of these commitments while incorporating innovative stewardship procedures. In addition, this role serves as the primary liaison between SAF liaisons and coaching and operations of&#xa0;staff across multiple sports, providing guidance and support related to donor engagement and cultivation efforts. 
 Director of Strategy, Analytics, and Operations &#xa0; -  Job Description 
 Provides strategic oversight for SAF&#8217;s data analytics, gift management, membership services, premium seating strategy, and internal operations. This position supports revenue generation and operational efficiency by ensuring accurate reporting, effective gift processing, data-informed decision-making, and consistent execution of donor-related business functions. The Director also develops and maintains standard operating procedures, improves business processes, and oversees full-time operations staff responsible for membership services, prospect development, and internal support functions. 
 Engagement Officer  -  Job Description 
 Serves on one of the fundraising teams within the SAF while identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors capable of making philanthropic commitments from $50 to $24,999 annually. This role helps build the early stages of the major gift pipeline through high-volume donor engagement, qualification, and relationship management in support of FOR SPARTA priorities. 
 Gift Officer&#xa0; -  Job Description 
 Serves on one of the fundraising teams within the SAF while identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors capable of making philanthropic commitments of $100,000 to $250,000 annually. This role advances team-based fundraising strategy, strengthens the donor pipeline, and supports FOR SPARTA priorities through coordinated donor engagement and relationship management. 
 Senior Gift Officer/ Team&#xa0;Lead&#xa0; -  Job Description 
 Leads a fundraising pod within SAF while&#xa0;identifying,&#xa0;cultivating,&#xa0;soliciting, and stewarding donors capable of making philanthropic commitments of $250,000+. This role drives strategy, accountability, and mentorship within the pod structure while advancing FOR SPARTA priorities.&#xa0;

 Qualifications may vary based on position. 
 &#xa0; 
 Required  Qualifications: 
 
 Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Business, Communications, Data Analytics, Finance, Hospitality, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, Public Relations, Sports Management, or a related field 
 Administrative: 2&#8211;4 years of administrative or operational support experience. 
 Assistant or Associate Director: 1-3 or 3-5 years of experience in event management, development, donor relations, athletics, hospitality, advancement, or a related field. 
 Director and Senior: 5 or more years of experience in athletics development, fundraising operations, business operations, ticketing, premium seating, advancement services, donor relations, or a related field. 
 Ability to work collaboratively with fundraisers, ticketing staff, athletics administrators, coaches, campus partners, vendors, and donors. 
 Experience working with donors, alumni, campus partners, athletics staff, or external stakeholders. 
 Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events, timelines, and priorities simultaneously. 
 Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality guest experiences. Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. 
 Experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel. Experience working with databases, RSVP systems, event records, or reporting tools. 
 Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, athletics events, and off-site donor engagement activities as needed. 
 
 Preferred Qualifications: 
 
 Experience in athletics development, university advancement, or nonprofit fundraising. 
 Familiarity with donor databases. Experience with Salesforce Ascend, Paciolan, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar CRM, ticketing, reporting, or visualization platforms. 
 Experience in Division I athletics, athletics development, donor relations, advancement events, or premium hospitality. 
 Direct experience working with donors, coaches, student-athletes, and/or high-profile guests. 
 Demonstrated ability to develop revenue projections, donor dashboards, segmentation strategies, or operational reporting tools.
