Essential Functions:
&#8226;30% Design and maintain media guides, game programs, and departmental websites.
&#8226;20% Update, maintain, and report conference/national level statistical records using a computerized statistical program.
&#8226;20% Respond to requests from media regarding local, regional, and national level events.  Travel with teams to handle media relations while serving as an intermediary between the University&#39;s athletic programs and the media/public.
&#8226;15% Monitor and post on team and department social media platforms.
&#8226;5% Nominate and promote University teams, coaches, and players for conference, regional, and national awards/honors.
&#8226;5% Write and submit information for the press in local, national, and regional publications.
&#8226;5% Manage the scheduling and payroll functions of the statistics crew for game day operations/management.

Additional Position Information:
Education:
Requires a relevant Bachelor&#39;s Degree.

Experience:
Requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in public relations and media communications for athletic events. Strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, and desktop publishing capabilities required. Ability to record and interpret sports statistics required. Knowledge of all sports and related NCAA rules and regulations is required.

Essential Functions:
&#8226; 55% Marketing, Promotions and Multi-Media Operations - Oversee the Office of Marketing and Promotions. Responsible for marketing, promotions and multi-media operations including but not limited to working with ISP, creating, directing and implementing all television and radio network programming; promotion of all sports programs including game-day operations and environment; directing ZipsVision; initiating new inventory; and website management and development.
&#8226; 20% Ticket Sales and Operations - Oversee all external ticket sales programs, fan development and the Office of Ticket Operations. Responsibilities include managing and developing season and group ticket packages to sell to University and local community and supervising all ticket operations including office.
&#8226; 10% Media Relations Operations - Oversee the Office of Media Relations. Responsibilities include developing positive relationships with local, regional and national media, promotion of all sports programs on a local, regional and national level, website maintenance, game management operations (i.e. gam statistics) and production of all sports program media guides.
&#8226; 10% Sports Administration - Oversee/serve as Sport Administrator for selected programs.
&#8226; 5% Licensing of Merchandise Operations - Oversee all licensing and merchandise operations. Responsibilities include serving as the main liaison.

Additional Position Information:
Education: Requires a relevant Bachelor&#39;s Degree. 

Experience: Requires a minimum of 4 years of full-time paid experience in sports marketing and promotions, preferably in college athletics or minor league sports. Strong organizational, communication, strategic planning, creative and guest relations skills required. Work experience with Microsoft Office software, InDesign, Photoshop and/or other related software required. Demonstrated ability in sales, marketing, customer services and/or related fields required. Position requires working nights and weekends as needed. Prior supervisory experience required.
