CLUB VISION: 

A destination youth soccer club serving 12,000 youth soccer players across 100 miles of Colorado, Rapids Youth Soccer focuses on “Developing Remarkable Coaches” through its purpose of "The Heart Behind the Crest." The Club’s commitment revolves around a comprehensive player development process encompassing both on-field skills and off-field growth. We aim to instill a lifelong passion for the game and equip players, coaches, and staff with the skills acquired during their Rapids journey to excel in all their endeavors.

POSITION VISION:

This position is responsible for managing, developing, and delivering the North 11U-19U Girls program as part of the Rapids North Region. The role is pivotal to further the development of our youth club talent as we work to provide a complete pathway for our female players and members from grassroots to college and beyond. This position operates in a competitive environment built on player development and club-wide consistency.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

Architect

• Utilize the CRYSC belief system to guide the development of female players in the Rapids Player Pathway.
• Develop a strategic approach to maximizing the club's resources to elevate the North 11U-19U Girls program to new competitive levels.
• Implement the Technical Plan and coordinate with the North Regional Technical Director (RTD) for any unique needs of the North 11U-19U Girls program.
• Lead and manage the implementation of a player recruitment plan within program.
• Collaborate with North ECNL-RL Girls Director, North Region RTD, and North Region Staff on player movements across the player pathway.
• Assist in the development and implementation of any education sessions as presented by the CRYSC staff.
• Serve as a key leader in creating a collaborative culture within the North Region staff and North 11U-19U Girls coaches that results in player-centered environments.

Align

• Collaborate with all regional staff to coordinate the allocation of resources, facilities, and fields in the implementation of the North 11U-19U Girls programs.
• Support and collaborate with all Rapids programs and Directors across all regions to ensure a connection in the belief system, player development, player placement, and player pathway.
• Implement Individual Player Development (IDP) Plans with success measurements for players and coaches in the North 11U-19U Girls program.
• Implement parent engagement and player education sessions for the North 11U-19U Girls program.
• Implement the club’s coach evaluation process, including IDPs, written assessments, reflection interviews, feedback, specific recommendations for further development, and follow-up, to develop North 11U-19U girls program coaches.
• Work closely with Administrators to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of programming.

Own

• Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with all players, parents, coaches, and staff.
• Support all staff in creating safe and player-centered environments.
• Coach up to two teams in the region.
• Identify, hire, develop, and manage the North 11U-19U Girls' coaching staff with the support of RTD.
• Develop a yearly workflow calendar of communication for parents, coaches, and players.
• Forge positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to benefit the region and  program.
• Champion all club policies by ensuring best practices in areas such as safeguarding player health and safety.
• Be visible to all internal and external stakeholders and support key staff when liaising with parents at critical moments.

• Joy in the Rapids Experience – Our goal as a club is for our players to love playing soccer, our coaches to love coaching soccer, and our staff to love working in soccer. Our soccer process should be consistent with this goal, which we believe is not mutually exclusive across all levels.
• Retention and Satisfaction – Successful communication, customer service, and performance should improve retention and registration of players and coaches across the club annually and longitudinally. 
• Playing Style – A successful soccer process should result in consistency in playing style across all club levels and ages relative to the level of competition.
• Consistency – Our operations process should result in a consistent player experience across the entire club, rather than an environment where the player experience varies widely based on who the coach or director of the player’s team is.
• Performance Outcomes – An effective North 11U-19U Girls program focusing on coach support and utilizing all support services at the disposal of the directors.
