- Provide leadership in planning and organizing pertinent policies and procedures for facility use and game administration - Lead staff training and convey expectations to game staff and partners - Consult with senior administrators to evaluate resources and develop strategic program planning - Develop short and long-range strategic planning to enhance area and department - Supervise full and part-time staff employees - Ability to successfully manage and organize multiple projects and games simultaneously - Ability to organize and supervise diverse workgroups to produce safe and satisfying event experiences - Develop short and long-range strategic planning to reach the desired goals of the department - Clearly define expectations and deadlines for full and part-time staff - Ensure compliance with university, state, federal, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations - Oversee associated RFPs and contract negotiations to enhance area and department performance - Serve as department representative in necessary contract negotiations
Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of facility and event management experience.
Must have knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
