The position of Graduate Assistant for Athletic Communications is responsible for directly assisting the athletic department with the promotion/publicity of all Western Illinois University student-athletes and coaches. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to; planning and implementing communications strategies for assigned sports, in-game activities with statistics, updating stats for website publishing, writing press releases, game notes, game programs, updating the department website, submitting honors for conference and national recognition, and other duties as assigned.
