General Summary Assist in the daily operation of the athletic equipment room, including issuance, inventory, maintenance, and repair of athletic equipment; coordinate and perform department-wide laundry-related activities; and assist with coordinating and monitoring work assignments of student support staff. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Classify, inspect, wash, dry, fold, and count laundry. Arrange pickup and delivery of laundry, including coordination of routes. Advise workers on materials and methods to be used in laundering. Ensure proper use of laundry equipment and adjust equipment as needed. Maintain laundry files and other office records, including billings to departments and time worked by employees in the laundry area.
