Position Overview

Minnesota State Community and Technical College is accepting applications for a Head Women’s Basketball Coach to begin fall semester 2026. This position is located on the Fergus Falls campus.

Responsibilities:

Activities related to comprehensive community college teaching and learning, including but not limited to:

• Head coach duties, including recruiting, conducting practices and tryouts, organizing and scheduling road trips, tracking students’ athletic eligibility, and other related duties.
• Monitor women’s basketball budget, fundraise as appropriate, and maintain spending practices in alignment with NJCAA rules.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

• Basketball coaching experience;
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Demonstrate the ability to recruit and coach;
• Ability and commitment to adhere to the policies and procedures of Minnesota State Community and Technical College, MCCC and NCAA Division III.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Assistant or Head coaching (basketball) experience at the collegiate level.
• Ability to work with a diverse population of students.
