Position: Assistant Sports Information Director
Reports to: Athletic Director
Term: Full-time, 10-month
Salary: $22,930 plus benefits and housing
Starting Date: Position open until filled

Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Sports Information Director, the Assistant Sports Information Director will perform or provide assistance for the following duties that pertain to the coverage of WTC Athletics.  

Responsibilities:

• Assist in all record-keeping of all sport-related information.
• Assist in maintaining all sports records and publication of statistics programs (live and post-game)
• Assist with the development, editing, and production of all athletic stories, press releases, photos, videos, and publications.
• Assist with Game Day Operations. 
• Responsible for the daily maintenance and upkeep of all sports information areas and equipment.
• Supervise Student-Workers.
• Assist with maintaining a social media presence across athletic sites.
• Assist in gathering, maintaining, and posting all NJCAA and NIRA statistics.
• Manage media and all Sports Information aspects for all home competitions, such as statistics, scoreboard operations, sound systems, and live streaming responsibilities.
• Assist with live stream and photography needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred, Two years experience in the field of athletic communications, broadcasting, journalism, marketing, promotions or branding either in a part-time or student-worker capacity.
• Ability to represent the WTC Athletic Department in the arenas of home events and within the college's daily operations.
• Carry a positive work ethic and a willingness to learn various on-the-job skills.
