This position is responsible for ensuring all policies and procedures related to financial aid are administered, as outlined in the UK Athletic Compliance Policies & Procedures, and in accordance with NCAA, SEC & University rules and regulations. Monitoring is a pillar of Athletic Compliance and the ability to effectively monitor areas of compliance, specifically financial aid, is a necessity to an athletic compliance unit and the ability to avoid an NCAA Failure to Monitor charge (one of the highest Level I violations). Administering funds for receipt by student-athletes as well as balancing scholarship limitations as set forth by NCAA rules, this position is critical to ensure compliance with both campus and the NCAA.
