This position is responsible for ensuring all policies and procedures related to financial aid are administered, as outlined in the UK Athletic Compliance Policies & Procedures, and in accordance with NCAA, SEC & University rules and regulations. Monitoring is a pillar of Athletic Compliance and the ability to effectively monitor areas of compliance, specifically financial aid, is a necessity to an athletic compliance unit and the ability to avoid an NCAA Failure to Monitor charge (one of the highest Level I violations). Administering funds for receipt by student-athletes as well as balancing scholarship limitations as set forth by NCAA rules, this position is critical to ensure compliance with both campus and the NCAA. The Athletic Compliance Asst. Director will also provide interpretative assistance in areas of Awards & Benefits and Financial Aid under the supervision of the Associate AD. Individual will also assist with oversight of the UK ACO Intern program.
