Graduate Assistant for Athletic Communications (1 Position) - The position of Graduate Assistant for Athletic Communications is responsible for directly assisting the Sports Information Director with the promotion/publicity of all Keiser University student-athletes and coaches. These responsibilities include but are not limited to; planning and implementing communications strategies for assigned sports, in-game activities with statistics/social media, updating stats for website publishing, writing press releases, game notes, game programs, game broadcasts, submitting honors for conference and national recognition, and other duties as assigned. This position requires the ability to work flexible hours. Graduate assistant positions include hourly pay plus a partial tuition scholarship (employment is contingent upon proof of admission to the Graduate School and passing a background check). Graduate Assistant for External Relations (4 Positions) - The position of Graduate Assistant for External Relations will work closely with the Associate Athletic Director and assist with development operations with responsibilities including, but not limited to: working cooperatively with sponsors, overseeing game day promotions/events. writing and designing development plans, improving donor engagement, planning of donor events, and other duties as assigned. This position includes various game day duties and requires the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Experience with donor and ticketing software is a plus. The candidate must possess strong communication, interpersonal and creativity skills. Successful candidates must be willing and available to work some evenings and weekends. Graduate Assistant for Facilities, Events, and Game Operations (2 Positions) - The position of Graduate Assistant for Facilities, Events, and Game Operations is responsible for directly assisting with the management of game day and athletics facilities operations. Duties include but are not limited to; contacting and organizing game day staff, hosting visiting teams and officials, assisting in set-up and tear down of events, assisting with athletics facility scheduling, planning and maintenance, create and implement a comprehensive ticket plan, manage season ticket accounts, handle single-game sales and ticket window(s), assisting with on campus signage, and other duties as assigned. This position includes various game day duties and requires the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Previous experience with graphics software such as Canva or Box Out along with any roles in collegiate or professional game operations or events management is a plus. The candidate must possess strong communication, interpersonal and creativity skills. This position requires the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Graduate Assistant for Strength and Conditioning (2 Positions) - The position of Graduate Assistant for Strength and Conditioning is responsible for directly assisting the full time strength and conditioning coaches in all aspects of developing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for all 26 NAIA sport programs. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to; implement strength and conditioning programs for assigned sport teams, coordinate times for assigned teams around class and team schedules in conjunction with weight room and strength staff, assist with and conduct periodic performance and strength testing, stay abreast of current trends in the field, and other duties as assigned. This position does not require a CSCS and/or a SCCC coaching credential but it is preferred. GA’s must have the ability to work flexible hours.
