K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for a LEARNING SPECIALIST in our Evans Student-Athlete Success Program, which is a full-time, salaried, benefits-eligible position. An example of job duties includes but are not limited to: •Provide intensive academic support to an assigned group of student-athletes. This includes one-on-one tutoring and skill building, evaluating, and monitoring academic plans for students, assisting students in developing self-advocacy skills and self-awareness, providing appropriate referrals to the Student Access Center. •Provide leadership and assistance with the Specialized Learning Program. Work in tandem with fellow learning specialists to level and support all student-athletes who level into the specialized learning program.
