Scope: Responsible for supporting the daily operations of The Wildcat Ticket Office. Being committed to assisting season ticket holders and fans while maintaining excellent customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities. • Assist with daily customer phone, email, walk-up interactions, and sales. Communicate and interact effectively, respectfully, and appropriately with diverse populations in the Department and the University community. (45%) • Assist with the daily ticket operation duties for preparation and game-day management of Football, Men’s & Women’s Basketball and Baseball as assigned. (20%) • Assist with the daily maintenance of ticket software system and office equipment. Assist with maintenance of customer accounts within vivenu ticketing software. (10%) • Assist the Director of Ticketing with outbound sales efforts and ticketing projects. Assist in the renewal process for season tickets with an emphasis on Donor Retention. (15%) • Manage all Player pass Tickets for Our Sports Through ARMS (Teamworks). (5%) • Other duties as assigned. (5%)
Professional Development Requirements Skills: • Superb organizational and communication skills. • Excellent attention to detail • Ability to organize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and coordinate number of office functions, while maintaining a courteous and professional attitude. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Knowledge of NCAA, WAC Conference, UAC Conference, and ACU rules/regulations. • Ability to work flexible, non-traditional hours and adjust to a varied schedule. Training Opportunities: • NAATSO seminars. • Meetings with vivenu account managers • Leadership and supervisory of student interns/workers. • NCAA compliance training. Qualifications: ACU is affiliated with the fellowship of the Church of Christ. This position requires the employee to be a professing Christian and to be willing to support the Christian mission of ACU. • Must be enrolled full-time in graduate program at Abilene Christian University. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as well as all men’s and women’s basketball games. • Previous working knowledge of Paciolan and/or Ticketmaster ticketing platforms preferred.
