Salary for the position is $12,000 plus a $1,000 stipend for management of Umpqua Community College summer volleyball camp. Depending upon qualifications additional remuneration is available for teaching wellness classes and/or intramural program coordination. The contract is for one year and is renewable.

The position requires a high level of experience in the area of: recruiting, practice organization, game strategies, conditioning, public relations, fund raising, and team discipline. Responsible for implementation of college, conference, and regional policies as they relate to budget, coaching, recruiting, retention, fundraising, and eligibility.

QUALIFICATIONS
QUALIFICATIONS: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required. Ability to work as a team with a variety of people. Possess organizational skills, computer literacy, and budgeting and accounting experience. Possess current 1st Aid Certification and CPR. Able to recruit student athletes to a rural area. Ability to possess a valid Oregon drivers’ license and a clean driving record. Preferred (Not Required) Qualifications: Master's Degree preferred. A minimum of three years successful coaching on the collegiate level is preferred. Five years successful coaching on the secondary, or club level, will be considered.
