Serve as the marketing and game presentation point of contact for assigned sports, including, but not limited to, football and/or men’s basketball with a focus on developing promotional concepts and gameday scripts
Develop and oversee marketing strategies for athletic department’s external units and sport programs and analyze nationwide trends to best position Memphis for success.
Provide oversight to marketing and gameday presentation department, including full-time employees, interns, student workers and gameday staff.
Provide oversight to athletic department’s social media functions and personnel.
Serve as the sport administrator for Memphis’ cheer and dance programs
Oversee athletic department advertising strategy and trade partnerships in conjunction with Learfield/Tiger Sports Properties
Coordinate with student leadership and on-campus entities to enhance student attendance and involvement in athletic events.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Serve as liaison to additional campus units such as the marching band and pep band.
Bachelor’s Degree and five (5) years of experience in a college marketing/promotions office, or with a marketing firm OR Master’s degree and three (3) years of experience in a college marketing/promotions office, or with a marketing firm.
