Villanova University. a Division I Institution and member of the Big East Conference has an immediate opening for a Coordinator of Facilities & Events. This position is responsible for the daily supervision and maintenance of athletics facilities and events, including event preparation and event management. Duties include facility management and maintenance, facilities access systems and work order system for Athletics.
-Direct and manage all duties for Villanova Athletics events, special events and outside events, as assigned.
-Serve as primary contact for game day management for sports, as assigned. Complete and distribute Olympic sport event manuals for all assigned sports.
-Hire, train, and supervise all associated event management staff.
-Assist with project management on various facility maintenance, renovation, and / or construction projects.
-Serves as liaison to assigned campus operating units who require athletic facilities or are involved in athletic department events.
-Serve as primary contact and responsible for managing annual campus events, as assigned.
-Assist with event management for men’s and women’s Basketball, Football, Commencement, Big East Championships, and other larger events held in Athletics facilities.
-Assist with the scheduling of Athletics facilities.
-Responsible for the building management and maintenance of Athletics facilities as assigned.
-Perform other duties and assists with special projects as assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree
Work Experience
Two to three years experience in athletics administration, specifically in facilities and events management.
Work Skills (e.g., written and verbal communication skills)
Proven ability to manage multiple projects under strict deadlines. Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Specific Job Knowledge (e.g., knowledge of principles and procedures related to field and area)
Experience in managing daily facility operations. Budget planning and management experience. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
Equipment Knowledge
Proficiency with personal computer applications (word processing, spreadsheets, database, on-line work order systems).
