The Assistant Director of Development and Member Services will report directly to the Director of Development and Member Services. This position will be responsible for generating revenue for IPTAY while also providing unparalleled customer service and stewardship to all IPTAY members. The assistant director will be expected to meet revenue and productivity goals on a regular basis by completing all assigned duties. This position will interact regularly with internal and athletics staff, university colleagues, and organizational constituents on a regular basis and may oversee full-time staff, contractors, student employees, and/or graduate assistants.
JOB DUTIES
Renewing and Generating IPTAY and Clemson Athletics Revenue | 40%
Solicit IPTAY donations and sell new football season tickets including premium seating.
Generate new IPTAY revenue through face-to-face meetings, game day visits, phone calls, and emails.
Assist with all IPTAY donation renewal campaigns as well as season ticket renewal campaigns.
Provide information regarding donations, parking, and ticketing to new and existing IPTAY members.
Identify and cultivate new donation and football season ticket sales opportunities through referrals and other lead generation sources.
Utilize ticketing and donation software to process all donations and sales.
Serve as a Customer Service Base for IPTAY | 40%
Build and maintain relationships with IPTAY donors through face-to-face meetings, game day visits, phone calls, emails, and other technologies as required.
Focus on maximizing existing relationships and potential upgrades of IPTAY giving levels for current members.
Increase IPTAY annual fund membership by soliciting new donations to the fund.
Respond to inbound donor service inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
Maintain all donor and prospect records, including calls and meetings, within Salesforce CRM to ensure accurate and up-to-date files at all times.
Work IPTAY and Clemson Athletic events including home games and special events as needed, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Assist with Collections of IPTAY Seat Equity, Annual Pledges, and Capital Gifts | 10%
Utilize assigned leads to collect unpaid IPTAY seat equity, annual pledges, and capital gifts.
Administrative | 10%
Manage use of resources including funding, personnel, facilities, and time.
Attend weekly staff meetings and assigned working group meetings.
Assist with administrative functions within the IPTAY office.
Adhere to all department-wide management controls.
Serve on athletics, university and advisory committees as assigned.
Participate in professional development opportunities and mandatory training programs.
Ensure all operations follow Clemson University, IPTAY, NCAA and conference regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education: The minimum education required to perform the primary role of this position.
Bachelors Degree
Minimum Experience: The minimum years of applicable and relevant work experience that would be necessary to effectively perform the position.
1-3 years in intercollegiate and/or professional athletics, specifically in the development, sales, or customer service setting.
Equipment Utilized: Equipment with which the incumbent must be familiar or will be required to operate or use.
Microsoft Office, SalesForce CRM, Ticketmaster Archtics.
