The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) is presently seeking an experienced and highly-motivated individual to strengthen current relationships with partners and identify new partnership opportunities for the ITA. This individual should possess a proven track record of leadership and a strong ability to persuade, motivate and influence others and would potentially serve as a trusted member of the ITA Senior Leadership Team. The exact title will be commensurate with experience and determined upon hiring.
Major Strategic Goals/Areas of Focus:
Nurture current partnerships and raise new funds for the ITA in support of the ITA’s mission and programs, with primary focus on seeking new major sponsors/partners
Serve as primary relationship contact with all partners
A minimum of quarterly calls with major partners
Collaborate with ITA Community Manager regarding partner activation services
Provide bi-annual reports
Pursue and develop business expansion efforts, including, but not limited to, improving and growing business-to-business partnerships and new sponsorships, including those that may lead to ITA major championships being broadcast.
Develop and execute a plan to maximize advertising monies – including, but not limited to, on broadcast/streams, website, and podcasts.
Work closely with the ITA Senior Leadership team on all matters related to the possible adoption and management of college tennis sports wagering.
Build on successful fundraising opportunities at the US Open Tennis Championships.
Stewardship of current donors and identification of new donors
Participate in ITA individual fundraising/development efforts, including with Alumni.
Utilize data analytics to track key performance metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize revenue generation efforts.
Develop and maintain a customer relationship management (CRM) system
Collaborate with ITA Director of Marketing & Communications on the possible creation of a college tennis ambassador program
Hall of Fame:
Drive important Hall of Fame related matters, working with Hall of Fame Committees, ITA Board members, ITA HOF Manager, HOF sites and ITA CEO to ensure goals and targets are achieved.

Qualifications and Desired Skills:
Bachelor’s degree with Master’s degree preferred
Superior written, presentation, and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and interact at all levels within a prospect’s organization
Proven track record in partnership development and fundraising
Experience selling on new media platforms
Proven leadership skills and work ethic, as well as attention to detail
Successfully prepares, directs and leads meetings, including face-to-face and via web conferencing
Ability to work independently but also multi-task in a collaborative environment
Familiarity with Google applications and Slack
Willingness to learn new technology applications as required
Additional Information:
Title and compensation will be commensurate with applicants' level of experience and expertise.
Position will require limited travel throughout the year for championships and events.
This position will work remotely from a home office set-up.

As the governing body of collegiate tennis, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association promotes both the athletic and academic achievements of the collegiate tennis community.
