The Associate Director, Media Relations and Content Creation is responsible for the ideation, capture, creation and distribution of all creative content related to Baseball and other Sports as assigned. Coordinates with the Media Relation unit, Creative Services unit, other External Communications units and sports staff, to identify the creative communication strategies for the assigned programs with the guiding principles of increasing reach, assisting recruiting and driving revenue. This position will work on a daily basis within the Media Relations unit to serve as a brand manager and the primary point-of-contact with the local and national media with responsibility for brainstorming, producing and pitching stories of Carolina Athletics in video, graphic and/or written form.
