The Assistant Director, Community Engagement within the Department of Athletics will be responsible for connecting Vanderbilt Athletics with local community organizations, events and causes that align with university and departmental values. This position will be tasked with enhancing existing relationships as well as creating new ones. Vanderbilt is a charter member of the Southeastern Conference and is the conference's only private school. The university fields 17 varsity teams, 15 of which compete in the Southeastern Conference.
