The Learning Specialist will assist in identifying student learning difficulties, coordinating referrals leading to appropriate testing and diagnosis, and will act as liaison to the Office of Disability Resources and Services (DRS). In addition, the Learning Specialist also works with other members of the Resnick Academic Support Center to provide and coordinate a full range of support in addressing student athletes' academic and study skill needs. The learning specialist works one on one with student-athletes to develop strategies to promote academic success.
