The Academic Advisor reports to the Associate Director of Athletics for Academic Services. The Office of Academic Services is a support office for varsity student-athletes. Services are provided for a population of approximately 500 students. The office also serves as a liaison to the University’s academic and administrative community on behalf of Northwestern University Department of Athletics and Recreation (NUDAR). RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Serve as core advisor to student-athletes, as assigned, from approximately 10 varsity sports including football; closely monitor academic progress and personal adjustment throughout the first year and meet at least quarterly with non-first years.
