The Athletic Department is a vital part of student life and the educational process at Elizabeth City State University. It provides a well-rounded schedule of college athletic competition designed to encourage participation by the student body. The department encourages physical fitness and the development of physical skills and emotional control. Director for Student-Athlete Success and Wellness (SASW) will serve as the primary liaison to university academic staff and faculty with support from the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance. Under the supervision of the Deputy Director of Athletics, the Director for SASW will provide wide-ranging support services for intercollegiate student-athletes in the areas of academic and wellness that is consistent with the University’s missio
