Supervises the assigned staff and assists in the preventative maintenance of all Athletics Facilities buildings, installation of equipment and fixtures. Plans and prioritizes tasks and projects from Facilities and Events leadership and Department of Athletics leadership. Assists campus FO&M staff and contract personnel in the performance of work in Athletics Facilities including, but not limited to painting, janitorial, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC work.

Oversees Campbell Stadium maintenance which would include but is not limited to inventory of items (barricades, trash containers, recycling containers, folding chairs, etc.), contact and campus staff work in stands, restrooms, concourses and ramps. Supervises game day staff in support of stadium operations on event days.

Approves daily time sheets and biweekly pay and leave reports for all direct reports. Reviews and updates work order maintenance tasks. Recommends and participates in actions relative to the hiring, commending and disciplining employees as appropriate. Evaluates performance and provides on the job training. Ensures assigned employees are equipped with proper skills to perform assigned tasks. Promotes a safe environment for all employees.

Assist in the preparation of the annual operation budget and recommends action relative to changes in personnel changes, capital equipment requirements and materials and operating expenses. Participates in administrative function such as inventory, record keeping, securing quotes and participating in bids or ITN processes.

Operates University vehicles and equipment in support of the department.

High school diploma or equivalency.  (Note: post high-school education and/or experience may substitute at a comparable rate.)

• Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
• Building maintenance experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends.
• Valid Florida or Georgia driver’s license.
