Summary:  The Director of Development is a member of the Gopher Athletics development team with the responsibility to secure major gifts ($50,000 and above) in support of the department's top priorities. This position will actively manage a portfolio of approximately 125 major gift donors and prospects while working in coordination with other members of the development team and with the University of Minnesota Foundation. A focus of this position is to assist in the department's efforts to identify and cultivate new donors to Gopher Athletics. This is a hybrid work environment opportunity.   Description  Major Gift Development - 80%  Identify, cultivate, and solicit prospective donors with a specific focus on major gift prospects.  Assist fundraising initiati
