Career Center

• Serve as the facility operations and maintenance point of contact for the G3 Center. Direct and coordinate all event operations for special and external events hosted in the G3 Center.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the G3 Center.
• Manage the daily schedules and supply orders of the custodial crews at all athletic facilities. Help develop a comprehensive facilities master plan for the division of athletics.
• Hire, train and supervise staff and students on all aspects of event operations and facility management.
• Adhere to any and all NCAA, Mid-American Conference and Eastern Michigan University policies, rules, regulations and operational procedures.
• Perform related departmental duties, as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in sports management or related field is required.
• A minimum of three (3) years directly-related experience involving athletic facilities and event operations management is required.
• Two years of sound, lighting and video equipment experience is necessary.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of University and NCAA rules and regulations is required. Must be able to work flexible hours including night and weekends.
• Ability to do heavy lifting is necessary.
