SUMMARY: The Associate Director of Academic Support/Director of Tutorial Support and Disability Services Coordinator acts as primary advisor, facilitator, and academic support person for assigned student-athletes from matriculation through graduation. This individual will monitor the academic progress of student-athletes and teams, implement appropriate academic intervention strategies, track continuing eligibility requirements established by the NCAA, conference, and the university, communicate consistently with coaches and staff, and assist in recruitment activities. As Director of Tutorial Support and Disability Services Coordinator, this individual must be competent with program development and evaluation as they will hire, train, and manage tutors/university writing consultants
