EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree and/or related compliance experience preferred. Must have strong work ethic, be detail oriented, and possess effective communication skills (written and verbal). Must have working knowledge of basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat), Knowledge of compliance-related software (e.g., Compliance Assistant, FrontRush, etc.) is advantageous. Must be able to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple tasks and projects, and work some evenings and weekends.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Assist with:
• Coordination of precertification process to evaluate initial eligibility, amateurism, and admission status for prospective student-athletes.
• Execution of recruiting monitoring systems.
• Collection and reconciliation of playing & practice season, countable athletically related activity, and time management plan information.
• Game day activities (e.g. complimentary tickets).
• Data entry in compliance software for recruiting, eligibility, and financial aid.
• Publish compliance-related newsletters and other educational materials such as the compliance office’s social media accounts.
• Other duties as assigned.

This is a 40 hours/week, 12-month paid internship.
