The University at Albany (NY), a member of the America East Conference, and CAA invites applications for a Graduate Assistant for Athletics Event Management and Operations. The successful candidates’ duties will include, but are not limited to, administering and assisting with the set-up and break down of all home contests and outside facility rentals; assisting with the planning, scheduling, maintenance and supervision of athletic facilities and events; serving as the game day facilities employee representing the athletic department at assigned contests and/or events. Albany is a NCAA Division I institution that competes in the America East Conference. Football is a member of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA). Applicants must be accepted into a University at Albany graduate program for 2022-23 Academic Year. Previous experience working facilities management is preferred. Candidates must have strong event organizational skills, including scheduling, planning and maintenance. Applicants must address in their applications their abilities to work with culturally diverse populations and must also must be available to work nights and weekends.

This Graduate Assistantship will include $12,000 stipend per academic year. Does not Include Tuition, Room and Board. This position begins August 18th 2022 through May 24th, 2023. If successful at the conclusion of first year, this G.A. position will be extended for second year of study.
