Report to the ITA Senior Director - Competitive Department Work in a cross-functional capacity with the ITA Administrative Department, ITA Membership and Business Department, and the ITA Marketing and Communications Department on day-to-day organizational operations and the execution of the ITA’s strategic vision

Responsibilities Include:

MEMBERSHIP: Provide phone and email support to ITA Division II, III, NAIA and JUCO member programs on all competitive matters concerning ITA Division II, III, NAIA and JUCO tennis. CHAMPIONSHIPS: Serve as the lead staff member and oversee the administration of the following ITA championships: ITA Small College Regionals ITA Cup ITA Division III Men’s & Women’s National Team Indoor Championships ITA Division II Men’s & Women’s National Team Indoor Championships Serve as a team member and assist with the administration of the following ITA programs: ITA Summer Circuit ITA Fall Circuit. RANKINGS: Administer and oversee the ITA Division II, III, NAIA & JUCO Team and Individual Rankings. RULES: Oversee rules enforcement concerning ITA Division II, III, NAIA & JUCO member programs. GOVERNANCE: Serve as a team member and assist with the administration of coach governance at the ITA Division II, Division III, NAIA, and JUCO level. OTHER DUTIES as assigned by the ITA Competitive Department Senior Director

Qualifications and Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of three years of sport management experience preferred
• Strong understanding of and experience in college tennis preferred
• Strong tennis interest preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Applications
• Familiarity with Google Applications
• Tournament administrative experience and work experience in using Tournament Management Software preferred
• Applicant should be a detail-oriented self-starter, possess the ability to multi-task and dedication to complete assigned projects, be comfortable working in time-sensitive, high-pressure situations, and possess good interpersonal skills.  

Additional Information:

• Salary commensurate with experience.
• Position can work remotely 
• Position will report to the ITA Senior Director - Competitive Department 
• Position will require moderate travel throughout the year for championships and events.
