SIUE is seeking an academic advisor for men's and women's basketball (and one other sport). The Academic Advisor for Intercollegiate Athletics administers academic advising services to their assigned sports. These positions will assist the Deputy Athletic Director and other student services personnel in expanding and maintaining academic services for student-athletes. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing accurate and current curricular information; Assisting students in both short term and long term academic program planning; Referring students to offices and services on campus when appropriate; Providing counsel regarding career plans, academic difficulties and degree program selection.Additional assigned duties for the Academ
