The Coordinator for Compliance is responsible for the day to day oversight of ORU's NCAA Division I Athletics Compliance Program. This includes updating and developing procedures to ensure proper monitoring and education of student-athletes, coaches, staff, faculty, administration and representatives of ORU's athletic interests regarding applicable NCAA and The Summit League rules and regulations. Areas of rules oversight include personnel, recruiting, eligibility, financial aid, awards/benefits and playing and practice seasons. Candidate will also be responsible to serve as event manager for home athletic events for one assigned sport. Finally, candidate will serve as liaison to ORU's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
