The Development Associate for Membership will report to the Director of Membership and Lead Annual Gifts on the Growth and Innovation Team. This position will focus on growing membership programs through acquisition efforts and improving retention.
Membership Program Management
Management of membership programs including the Student Rams Club, Carolina Kids Club, Junior Rams Club, and Recent Graduate Program
Serve as advisor of Student Ram Advisory Board
Assist in the development, coordination & execution of membership acquisition and prospective member campaigns
Partner with Member Services and Communications teams to create an exceptional membership programs experience
Assist when necessary with member customer service efforts
Build and strengthen relationships with current and prospective annual fund donors
Contribute to overall success of The Rams Club's fundraising efforts
College Graduate, 4-year degree, Master’s Degree Preferred
Qualification & Experience Requirements
College graduate with 4 year degree
Experience in athletic fundraising is preferred
The skill to motivate and engender the confidence of prospects and donors
Eagerness and ability to work evenings and weekends
Proven, excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level of energy, creativity, and strong drive to be successful
Demonstrated ability to set and achieve goals in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Experience in fundraising database systems and other database management systems
Strong organizational and time management skills
