Under the direction of the Program Director, Business Operations, this individual will serve as a primary point-of-contact for the payment of goods and services, and the reconciliation of credit cards transactions within the Athletics Department. This individual will serve as an independent contributor ensuring the appropriate and timely payment of obligations in compliance with the University’s Handbook of Business Procedures (HBP) and internal policies and procedures, set by the Athletic Department’s financial leadership team.
Payment of Goods and Services: Administers the Athletics Department’s payment program through coordination of stakeholder activities, routine communication, and the verification of NCAA and UT compliance documentation. Serve as a subject matter expert on HBP 6-Cash Handling and 9-Expenditures. Document program operating procedures, ensure concise and timely communication to stakeholders, and easy access to program information and guides. Support an efficient centralized process to receive invoices, ensure the receipt of goods and services, gain the necessary approvals and process for payment, to ensure a strong pathway of internal controls. OneCard Program Administration; Responsible for the support and services through program development, enhancement, and measurement; including the reconciliation of card holder transactions in compliance with Athletics OneCard policy. Serve as the primary point-of-contact for the issuance of cash advances to sport programs, in support of a robust and complex travel operation. Reconcile financial data in accordance with Athletics Department procedures to ensure the timely reporting of financial information to sport programs and departments
Customer Service & Support: Provides customer service and support to Athletics Department units, including keeping users up-to-date on current policies, procedures and related information. Manage the Business Office central communication points, and provide timely and accurate responses in support of an efficient and effective program.
Best Practices & Business Process Improvement: Research best practices and alternative solutions for current business office applications and procedures. Work with the financial leadership to propose, alter, design and implement appropriate solutions to resolve inefficiencies and strengthen internal controls, with a focus on the procure-to-pay lifecycle.
Gameday Support: Support the Athletic Department at home events/contests in support of our strategic plans and goals.

Bachelors Degrees plus one years of experience in a relevant field, including experience in an NCAA Division 1 Athletics Department. Experience can be substituted in lieu of Education Requirements.
