The Graphic Designer I, will work as a member of the Intercollegiate Athletics external operations staff under general supervision. The Graphic Designer will serve as part of internal design hub and will be responsible for creating an inspirational visual identity for UTA Athletics with the primary purpose of maximizing brand engagement and enhancing revenue generation. The Graphic Designer will manage a high volume of graphic design work with a primary focus on supporting the creative needs across all areas of the department intended to enhance the fan experience. The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate with other external staff members to design creative assets and content for the department’s digital platforms, including social media, email, website and mobile as well as other medias.
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts or a related field. One to three (1-3) years of related experience in graphic design or the equivalent experience. Ability to exhibit diplomacy and tact while protecting confidentiality. Ability to work independently and be a motivated self-starter. High energy and creativity.
