The Coordinator of Athletics Multimedia Services will work under the direction of the Manager of Athletics Multimedia Services and Director of Athletics Communications. Responsible for assisting with coordinating, planning, organizing and executing a variety of multimedia strategies and goals to support Brown’s Department of Athletics, athletic programs, student-athletes, coaches and staff. Will assist with the production of video content for Brown Athletics across all platforms, including ESPN+/Ivy League Network, BrownBears.com, athletic social media accounts, in-venue video boards, and television. Responsibilities include, but not limited to shooting and editing videos, producing game recap/highlight videos, promotional videos, and personal interest stories, coaches shows, and other duties as assigned.

Employees in coaching positions are required to pass the NCAA Coaches Certification Test and maintain current AED/CPR and First Aid certification (certification is available at no cost through the Athletic Department).

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in a video or multimedia related field or a combination of education and related experience
Prior experience in digital content production and with cameras, preferred.
Exhibited proficiency in video and motion graphics editing software (Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and/or similar programs).
Experience producing live events for linear TV, preferred.
Experience producing sporting events, preferred.
Experience in intercollegiate athletics, preferred.
Strong working knowledge of and demonstrated interest in video production and graphic design and various video and audio equipment.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication & computer skills, necessary.
Proficiency in various social media platforms.
Demonstrated ability to work with and relate well to students.
Strong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple projects at once, while meeting established deadlines.
Strong work ethic, passion for the profession and commitment to student-athletes
Possess a willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive environment.
Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Strategic, innovative and creative thinker, and ability to work independently.
