Huntingdon College, a private liberal arts college of the United Methodist Church with 167 years of history, is accepting applications for the hiring of a Director of Sports Information.
Responsibilities: This position is responsible for every major area of focus within sports information, but most importantly, the promotion & celebration of our 20 sponsored sports, and the students & coaches who embody those programs at Huntingdon College.
Other areas of focus are included but not limited to: Website & social media maintenance, photography & live-stream setup, managing student interns & student workers, game day stats, recaps, records & historical data management, assisting in poster/schedule card/game day program production.
It is the responsibility of the Director of Sports Information to operate according to NCAA Division III, USA-South Conference, and College rules and regulations.

A bachelor’s degree is required, along with a minimum of 2 years experience within the field of sports information, ideally within a Division III environment. The candidate should possess general knowledge of college athletics and statistic taking. The candidate must possess adequate communication, verbal, and written skills, knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign and Photoshop), and knowledge of statistical programs (NCAA LiveStats Genius, Presto and StatCrew).
Graphic design experience is a plus.
The successful completion of a background check will be required before employment is finalized. Full Covid Vaccination is preferred. Salary will commensurate with experience.
