To manage the operations and staff of the Kent State University's Athletic ticket office. Reports to designated administrator.
Maintain financial records for all events which may include athletic, special events and concerts. Prepares records for internal and external audits.
Oversee and operate daily sales for events which may include athletic, special events, and concerts.
May assist with marketing and promotion of event with regards to pricing of ticket packages for season ticket holders and various events.
Supervise designated staff to include temporary and/or student employees engaged in activities related to office procedures, Ticketmaster operation, cash register operation, and game day procedures. Make hiring, separation and disciplinary recommendations; schedule work assignments; and conduct performance evaluations.
Draft and revise ticket related policies and procedures to ensure compliance (i.e. NCAA rules and regulations) while maximizing customer service and satisfaction.
Attends a variety of meetings on issues related to tickets.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in business or other related field. Two years of sales or retail experience.
Or the combination of education and experience to be equivalent to 6 years of sales or retail experienc
