Assist the Team Coordinator with the recruitment, hiring, training and supervision of student Game Ops Staff. Day to day operational support of all 20 NCAA DII athletic teams.
Coordinate all laundry for the Game Ops department.
Deliver all building packages that arrive daily.
Lead coordinator for all Football Game Day parking operations.
Serve as lead event manager for all home games in the sports of Volleyball, Baseball and Softball: - Supervise all Game Ops Staff through gameday setup and tear down
- Coordinate all setup and tear down logistics for game days
- Schedule and supervise PA for all 3 sports and table staff for Volleyball
- Provide operational support during all home games
- Help enforce GVSU, ICA and facility related policies and procedures
Serve as lead event manager for events other than assigned sports occasionally.
Order and manage all signage and branding for 2022 Division II Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field National Championships.

Required Qualifications and Education:
1 year of athletics or event management experience
Commitment to inclusion and equity in all aspects of operations
Strong commitment to customer service
Able to multi-task, work independently and self-motivate
Available to work flexible shifts, evenings, and weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications and Education:
CPR / AED / First Aid Certified
Experience in planning and running events as the main contact
Past work experience with college students
Demonstrated experience with problem solving and conflict management
Demonstrated leadership skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Additional Salary Information: 6 Graduate level credits for both Fall and Winter semesters
