West Virginia University is seeking a highly motivated development professional to be its next Assistant Director for Donor Relations & Events with the Mountaineer Athletic Club. This individual must have experience in the coordination of special events, donor stewardship, sport-specific giving, and donor communications. In addition, this individual will facilitate the data entry of all sport-specific giving along with developing a communication plan for the associated solicitations. The chosen candidate will provide leadership in growing sport-specific giving and events. This individual reports to the Assistant Athletics Director for Donor Relations and Administration with the Mountaineer Athletic Club. A bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred. Relevant experience may be substituted for a Master's degree. Minimum of 0-2 years of development experience. Experience with intercollegiate athletics, particularly Division I experience preferred. Direct experience working with and managing capital-giving projects and donors preferred. Must have knowledge and understanding of NCAA rules and regulations.
