Under the general direction of the Executive Senior Associate AD/CFO, the Assistant AD/Bulldog Club Finance will serve as the financial advisor by administering, managing and overseeing the daily business and financial activities for the Bulldog Club. 1.Oversees the financial activities of the Bulldog Club, which includes annual operating budget and oversees budget revisions as required. 2.Responsible for general ledger recording and management. 3.Prepares reports and special analyses for the Bulldog Club, presents recommendations for changes and/or improvements to increase efficiency and adherence to budgets. 4.Reviews investment strategy & activity on a regular basis and implements changes to portfolio as necessary 5.Administers and audits all payroll activities for accuracy, availability of funds and conformance to policies and procedures. 6.Participates in the development, implementation and maintenance of policies, objectives, short-long and long-range planning; develops and implements projects and programs to assist in accomplished of established goals. 7.Advises on matters related to policies and procedures pertaining to fiscal management to ensure the business interests of the division are advanced. 8.Communicates and foster relationships with internal MSU organizations, specifically the Athletic Business Office and MSU Foundation 9.Fosters banking relationship and interacts with outside professionals; CPA firm, financial advisors, coaches’ and attorneys for the Bulldog Club. 10.Administers courtesy car, cell phone and car allowance programs. 11.Negotiates and manages contracts with outside agencies as needed. 12.Performs related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field with 3-5 years of experience in Accounting, Business Management or related field.
