Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include oversight and maintenance of LMU’s official athletic website (LMURailsplitters.com), including writing press releases and producing various content and publications. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, serving as the primary contact for multiple LMU athletic programs, managing social media platforms in relation to teams assigned, creating social media and website content, as well as performing in-game duties such as public address, scoreboard operation, statistical input, clock management, social media updates, and music preparation. Other duties assigned by athletic administration. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

LMU Athletics is looking for a graduate assistant with previous experience in collegiate athletics as a student-athlete or employee, strong written and verbal communication skills, creative and innovative ideas, organization, time management, and leadership skills. Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere Pro, is preferred.

Qualifications:

Candidates must be interested in pursuing a career within college athletics or the sports industry. Bachelor’s degree required as well as successful admission to the Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Business Analytics, Master of Education or Master of Science in Criminal Justice graduate programs of the University, maintenance of satisfactory progress toward a graduate degree, and a letter of assignment as a graduate assistant signed by the President of the University.
