MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Experience / Knowledge / Skills: Two (2) years of work experience with an NCAA Division I and / or II athletics compliance program.  Experience investigating and processing violations of NCAA rules and regulations.  Strong working knowledge of NCAA Division I and / or II rules and regulations.  Strong  investigative and analytical skills to identify and assess facts and determine outcomes.  Strong presentation skills with the ability to present clear and accurate information when conducting training for various groups is essential.  Ability to demonstrate strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with a wide range of constituents.  Strong written communication skills.  Strong organizational skills to effectively prioritize and achieve deadlines on multiple projects.  Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment.  Strong commitment to integrity.  Demonstrated ability to deal with sensitive and stressful situations in a professional and confidential manner, as the person in this role will be required to deal with confidential information with discretion. Oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to: Multi-task and work well as part of a team.

PREFERRED EDUCATION / SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE:

Knowledge of and / or experience with LSDBi or Compliance Assistant

Master’s or Juris Doctorate (J.D.)

NCAA compliance supervisory experience in a campus environment

SUPERVISION OF OTHERS:

Director of Athletics Compliance, Athletics Financial Aid Specialist (dual oversight), student workers and interns
