The University of Dayton, a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference and the Pioneer Football League, is seeking applicants for the position of Coordinator of Football Operations and Recruiting. This coordinator assists the football staff with day-to-day operations of the program. Core responsibilities include: day to day communication with players and staff, coordinating team travel (which includes securing hotel and travel reservations, arranging meals and meeting spaces), manage student video staff, duties as recruiting coordinator, assist with coordination of activities associated with sports camps, clinics and team events, and daily administrative duties as assigned by Head Coach. UD Athletics employees are expected to comply with all laws, policies, rules and regulations governing the University, the NCAA, the Atlantic 10 Conference and the Pioneer Football League. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a commitment to the highest ideals of leadership, sportsmanship and academics. This is a full time, 10.5 month position with full benefits. Bachelor's degree in sports management or related field,
Experience working with student- athletes,
Able to demonstrate excellent written communication skills,
Possess a valid driver's license, maintains a low risk driving record and is insurable by the University.
Experienced in organizing/managing sports camps,
Knowledgeable in organizing and managing recruiting strategies
Able to demonstrate good, working knowledge of video editing systems,
Proficient in Microsoft Office software,
Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced collegiate setting,
Able to demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
