Position Summary: The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is seeking an Assistant Director of Analytics to work as a member of the newly created Strategy and Analytics unit. The Assistant Director of Analytics will be one of college athletics’ first units dedicated solely to business strategy and data analytics. This position’s primary responsibilities include: the day-to-day management of the UAA’s mobile app, generating revenue via in-app commerce, development of reports and data visualizations, and assisting with analysis and maintenance of UAA data systems. This position will work in collaboration with external units to create and execute both short and long-term strategy and analytics initiatives.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required
At least 1 year of experience with strategy, analytics, databases, and/or revenue generation required
Experience with Tableau, Dynamics CRM, and/or Eloqua Marketing Automation preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Committed to a fact-based approach to problem solving
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to communicate technical subject matter to colleagues
Requires a self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team
Ability to demonstrate innovative ideas and concepts
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Availability to work a non-standard work schedule which will occasionally include evenings, weekends, and holidays is required
The capacity to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds is essential.
