Promote a positive and professional atmosphere consistent with the mission of Seattle University, Department of Athletics, and the philosophy of the National Collegiate Athletic Association.
Have the ability to use problem-solving and ethical decision-making skills on a daily basis in line with NCAA Compliance to provide service to internal and external constituents.
Provide excellent customer service to coaches and staff, prospective and current student-athletes in matters concerning NCAA and WAC Compliance.
Assist in the planning and execution of prospect official visits to Seattle University
Maintain student-athlete JumpForward profiles and the management of student records as they pertain to NCAA/WAC Compliance.
Liaison between Coaches and Ticketing/Gameday Staff; Complimentary Tickets for student-athletes and prospects.
Assist compliance staff in all areas supporting NCAA Rules Education and Monitoring.
Assist in disseminating relevant information regarding NCAA Initial Eligibility, Admissions, and Housing.
Assist Ticketing/Game Operations staff with Recruit Pass List/ Player Pass List on Redhawk Gameday for ticketed sports teams.
Arrange and provide assistance to Compliance Staff for monthly Coaches Compliance meetings.
Current bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
Admitted and pursuing MSBL graduate degree at Seattle University.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to develop strong working knowledge of and adherence to NCAA compliance rules and Seattle University institutional policies.
Excellent computer skills with strong attention to detail.
Must be able to multitask and deal with multiple situations
Motivated and be able to work independently in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to pass background check.

Graduate assistantships are only available for fully admitted students of the Master in Sport Business Leadership (MSBL) program. While GA positions can be a great way to help pay for your graduate education, these positions are intended for those students who fully intend to work in collegiate athletics or university settings. You will be an integral part of SU’s Athletic Department. These positions require energy, commitment, and a high level of self-accountability and responsibility.
