The University of Alabama is accepting applications from qualified individuals for the position of Director, Intercollegiate Athletics Compliance.
This position is responsible for ensuring University and departmental staff, coaches, student-athletes, and representatives of athletics interest abide by NCAA and Southeastern Conference rules and regulations by coordinating rules education programs, monitoring compliance related issues and recruiting activities, and monitoring other compliance activities pertaining to student-athletes. In addition, the Director, IA Compliance is responsible for ensuring that all incoming assigned-Olympic Sports prospective student-athletes are eligible and admitted to the University as well as collecting and monitoring recruiting data related to all assigned-Olympic Sports recruiting activities.

Minimum requirements include: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of four (4) years experience within an Intercollegiate Athletics Compliance program; or Master's degree and a minimum of two (2) years experience within an Intercollegiate Athletics Compliance program; or Juris Doctor and a minimum of one (1) year experience within an Intercollegiate Athletics Compliance program. Knowledge of NCAA and SEC regulations.
