Experience leading an athletics development program by creating, implementing, and evaluating a business plan that integrates annual, major and planned giving to secure philanthropic support for Athletics funding priorities. Cultivate relationships and solicit philanthropic giving to Athletics primarily to funds supporting the student-athlete experience. Significant travel will be required. Attendance at most home team competitions required. Long hours; must be available to work evenings and weekends.
Bachelor’s degree plus five years fund raising or sales experience required. Five years’ experience in athletic development, university foundation, and/or a university alumni relations department required. Public speaking experience to groups 100+ essential. Experience leading an athletics development program. Working knowledge of basic Microsoft Office software and excellent customer relations and communications skills necessary.
